The high stand raises the fire basket to a total height of approximately 75 cm, giving the flames a strong visual presence while providing greater ground clearance than the low version.

A spectacular fire with less smoke

MOON uses an innovative double-wall combustion system to create a secondary combustion of the wood gases produced by the fire. Preheated air rises between the walls of the fire basket and ignites these gases, producing an impressive ring of flames while significantly reducing smoke.

When used correctly with suitable wood pellets, MOON can provide a low-smoke fire for up to approximately 2 hours without refuelling.

The result is a mesmerising fire that allows you to enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional fire with considerably less smoke.

Burn wood or pellets

One of the advantages of the MOON 45 is its versatility. It can be fuelled using either firewood or wood pellets.

For the cleanest and most consistent low-smoke combustion, Höfats recommends using wood pellets certified to EN 14961-2 with the ENplus A1/A2 quality label.

When using approximately 10–12 kg of suitable pellets, MOON can burn for up to around two hours.

The high stand

The stainless-steel high stand raises the MOON 45 to approximately 75 cm high, creating an elegant elevated fire that is easy to see from around the garden.

The increased ground clearance also provides greater flexibility in positioning compared with the low version, although the appropriate heat-resistant surface and safety clearances must always be observed.

360° view of the flames

The spherical MOON design creates an impressive fire that can be enjoyed from all sides. As the secondary combustion takes effect, flames rise through the perforated ring around the upper section, creating a dramatic circle of fire.

The result is as much a piece of outdoor design as it is a fire basket.

Easy to use and maintain

The MOON 45 is designed for straightforward assembly and maintenance. The ash tray can be removed for easy cleaning, while the fire basket can be dismantled without tools.

Its relatively compact form also makes it practical to move and store when not in use.
